Mission statements are everywhere, promoting why organizations exist. Take a look around the next time you enter a business, look at a menu in a restaurant or check out your favorite website. There are also personal mission statements that help an individual live on purpose.
Have you ever thought about creating your own mission statement, actually going through the process of self-examination, thinking about what motivates you and determining your unique purpose?
I went through an exercise a year ago to create my personal mission statement. I found GOD has really worked in my life. Looking back at the blessings he has given me helps me focus and decide what I should do and what I should not do. I suggest you put your personal mission statement on paper and look at it daily.
We are bombarded with distractions daily. There are numerous choices and decisions to make about what to do next, what path to follow, what opportunity to pursue. Understanding and acknowledging your purpose can help you make the choices that keep you on track.
